Shaking My Monkey Tree - Disney Channel

If Disney Channel was a woman, she'd be a damn C**K TEASE!
They take Phineas and Ferb from me and stick it on Disney XD now, and I could accept that, I could either upgrade my cable package or not watch it.
But those bastards won't let me be. They've started running short previews on Disney so now I'm primed for it and I get nothing. How evil is that? I think Michael is secretly in charge again. (I won't use his last name since I've got too much respect for Will Eisner and the EISNER Awards.)

Kid Rock, Fuck That Guy.

Seriously, Fuck That Guy
No wait, he doesn't even deserve that name anymore. His name is Robert James Ritchie, if that isn't most bitch-ass name ever I don't know what is.

I try to stay away from celeb gossip and political posts but I just can not keep quiet about this.

He was completely out of line, as admirable as it is, going overseas to perform for the troops is NOT COMMUNITY SERVICE.

Community service is a punishment, his USO work counting as community service would be like:

1. Ordering someone who spends every weekend volunteering at a homeless shelter to volunteer at a homeless shelter.
2. Having someone who really enjoys carpentry work with Habitat for Humanity.
3. Sentencing a masochist to a whipping.

OK, maybe that last one was a bit much, but you get my point.
Then there's the matter of his "passive aggressive" retaliation.

Passive aggressive is in quotes because:

YOU NEVER POST THE PERSONAL INFO OF A JUDGE!

Does he have any idea what kind of psychos are online, let's put aside the prospect of one of his fans hurting the judge (NO I will not post his name here) or his family, and focus on the possibility of some piece of trash he put away for a real crime (a fight at a waffle house, really Mr. Ritchie? You couldn't get into a fight at a bar like a man?) getting out and be looking for some payback. He just painted a target on the head of the judge, his family, and even his neighbors.

So begins my personal ban on this far north white trash dumb ass, you might say, "Well what is the loss of one listener going to matter?" Try a whole city, I'm a frickin' Radio DJ, that means that when I'm on the air NO KID ROCK. I already have similar bans on Hannah/Miley and the song Before He Cheats for personal reasons, but this is my first major declaration:

So long as I sit in the main chair in the studio, no Kid Rock, new or old, shall be played!

And if the higher ups wanna fire me then so be it!

Rik In Real Life - Grand Theft Shoelace

So I've just gotten out of The X-Files: I Want To Believe, and I got me two new pairs of 54'' laces, neon green and purple. Now I'm at JC Penny, I put the bag down and forget it for a few minutes and poof, gone for good :( You'd think someone would hand it over to an employee or the customer service desk, but no, they just say free stuff and skip to my lou. God, I hate the people in this town. When I rule the world, they're first on my Public Evicerations list.

Shaking My Monkey Tree - Kids Party 2

I HATE KIDS!

Shaking My Monkey Tree - Kids Party 1

F@*#ing kids party at Cinemark thinking that they call three whole rows. If my leg were back to 100% I'd kick the old man's ass.

Shaking My Monkey Tree - F*** Domino's Pizza

Seriously, f*** those guys! I hit upon a treasure trove of MCR (My Coke Rewards) points, 340 to be exact, at an office function at my mother's place of work, she knows I'm on the lookout for them. Now 340 points nets you some decent Coke swag, but lo and behold, every last code had already been used! That's when I noticed the tape. It seems a Domino's employee, opened each case, used the codes, and sealed them up again. WTF!?! I'll say this, Domino's Pizza isn't welcome in my house or belly any more.

Scarring Our Youth - The Strangers

Three f***ing kids, all in carriers, infants for heaven's sake, in the theater with me watching "The Strangers". Three psychos spend the movie tormenting a couple who's relationship is on the rocks. Age 5 to 15, the effects of movies like this depends on the kids mental/emotional health. Kids in their formative years however, that is just sick.

Station Stories - WTF?!?

Some lady calls and asks what kind of music we play, I tell her, "tejano, cumbia, and other Latino music." I guess she was expecting a top 40 station because she giggles says, "that's terrible, oh well good bye." and hangs up. What the hell? I can understand her not wanting to listen to this station, believe me, I understand, but she could have just asked for station recommendation, 'cause I would have directed her to our sister station. I'm not offended or anything, I just think she could have stood to be a bit more tactful.

120 Second Moviegoing Rant - Understaffed

The Cinemark theater in Eagle Pass, TX is severely understaffed. I've been facing longer and longer lines for tickets and snacks these days, and it's because there aren't enough employees to go around. Job searchers in Eagle Pass:

APPLY FOR A JOB AT CINEMARK SO I DON'T HAVE TO MISS MY TRAILERS STANDING IN LINE FOR A FREAKING DIET COKE AND POPCORN!

Shaking My Monkey Tree

The people in this town are savages. I was out last night taking advantage of the tax free weekend by buying some new pants. I leave my cart for five minutes to try them on, and when I come back, my friggin' cart was gone. Whoever took it, emptied it out and took my cart. What the hell? This person couldn't be bothered to get a cart from the front of the store? Which, I add, was like fifty yards away. The world is in a truly sad state when you can't leave your shopping cart for five minutes to try on some pants.

I guess you could say they caught me with my pants around my ankles.

120 Second Moviegoing Rant - Cell phones

People please, turn off you goddamn cell phone in the theater. You paid to watch the movie, so sit down, shut up, and watch the damn movie. Who do you think you are? How effin' important do you think you are that you have to be able to be reached at any moment. If you're expecting a call, either don't see the movie or quietly answer phone, with the the ringer off, and take it outside damn it. If I see one more person on their phone during the movie, I will shove it so far up their ass that they'll need a proctologist to dial for them.

120 Second Moviegoing Rant - Hairspray

Saw Hairspray today, 'rents if your kiddies loved High School Musical, keep them the hell away from the theater. I was lucky enough to have the bare minimum of little kids at the screening I went to, it was mostly older movie goers like myself and teenagers, but there was the obligatory couple who refused to shell out for a sitter and dragged their kids, who didn't want to go, along. If they aren't going to sit still and watch the movie, then leave the twerps at home.
